General Program FAQs;
-
What is Holoportation technology, and how does it work?
Holoportation technology is a telepresence solution that allows remote teachers to "beam" themselves into classrooms in real-time or pre-recorded sessions. It uses a combination of hardware and software to create a 3D hologram-like image of the teacher, which students can interact with in real-time.
The technology leverages the power of the internet to bring teachers and students together, regardless of their physical location, creating a more personalised and interactive learning experience.
The HoloHub Studio schools have teleportation studios set up in their schools, which act as the anchor for the teacher talent. The HoloPoint schools receive the teaching sessions through the Holoportation HoloPoint devices.
